Foundation Programs
The Comunale Cancer Foundation provides cancer support programs for individuals and families across Northeast Ohio. Our programs ease financial burdens, restore hope and bring comfort to those impacted by cancer. We support patients and families with emergency financial assistance, Jane’s Sunshine Bags, holiday meals and Summer Horse Camps for Kids. Every program provides compassionate support, meaningful connection and moments of joy for cancer patients and their families.

General Financial Assistance
The Foundation provides assistance with rent or mortgage payments, utility bills (excluding non-essential utilities such as cable TV or internet connections) and other day-to-day financial needs determined on a case-by-case basis. Applications are required.

Jane's Sunshine Fund
Jane's Sunshine Fund provides small moments of joy to those facing cancer and their families. Grants may be used to send flowers, a gift card to a favorite restaurant, tickets to an event or the theatre, a massage and more. Learn more and nominate a recipient.

Holiday Meals Program
We deliver nearly 200 meal kits between Thanksgiving and Christmas so that families battling cancer have a complete meal to share. We believe that no one should spend the holidays worrying about what's for dinner. Learn more about the program.
Moments of joy show someone cares
"Thank you for the tote bag and many goodies you enclosed. Being remembered at a time like this puts a shining spot on knowing someone cares and has you in their thoughts. The work you all are doing for cancer patients is admirable."
