Healing Through Art
The foundation has been sponsoring art therapy projects and annual patient art exhibits since 2013 through a partnership with the McDowell Cancer Center of Akron General Cleveland Clinic. The art therapy program supports both individual art and expression activities and a collaboration activity which is developed into a larger piece by art therapist Amber Smith symbolizing themes such as strength, courage, hope, and perseverance. These larger pieces are displayed in various Cleveland Clinic facilities across Summit County.
