In Memory of Jane Comunale

Jane Comunale was Stephen Jr.’s loving mother, a co-founder of the Stephen A. Comunale, Jr. Family Cancer Foundation, and a Foundation board member of the Foundation from its inception in 2006. She lost her courageous battle with cancer in August of 2011 and is greatly missed, but her spirit lives on through a fund created in her honor.

Established in 2012, Jane’s Sunshine Fund helps put smiles on faces through small grants. The fund allows us to provide small acts of kindness – movie tickets, dinner nights, birthday parties, and other things we sometimes take for granted that mean so much to someone touched by cancer. As a result, we’re able to provide an average of 100 grants through Jane’s Sunshine Fund each year.
