About The Event
The Event is “the event” to attend in Akron every other year to support our local cancer community. Join close to 800 people at our must-attend experience to celebrate the remarkable work of the Comunale Cancer Foundation. The Event is our largest biennial fundraiser which helps us provide direct financial support to those touched by cancer or receiving treatment in Summit County.
Experience the funky music of Kool & The Gang as they perform top hits like Celebration, Get Down On It, Cherish and more! Gourmet dinner stations by Beau’s Grille, live auction items, valet parking, music and dancing all night long!
